After reading through the book, a highlight page is created which captures parts of the book that stood out to me.

A main concept in this book is space travel and planetary orbits. With this theme, I created a “Character Orbit” which articulates how characters enter and leave the narrative throughout the book. Each line radiating from the center is 1 page in the book. The main character Ransom, is the circle. Some characters only show up once and shown as a tangent to the circle.
design
Using the Character Orbit, shapes were created and manipulated to investigate additional shapes. From these shapes, forms were made to create the a conceptual “Spaceship”.
